Install the T.38 Software
The T.38 Software (which includes the IP Fax Console
Software) must be installed on a PC on the network that the
T.38 machine is attached to.
Set Up the Address Table
Use the IP Fax Console Software to set up the Address Table
for the T.38 facsimile machine.
You will need to know the IP Addresses of the T.38 devices
your users will be communicating with.
You will be assigning aliases to the IP Addresses you program
into the Address Table. These aliases must be shared with
your end users.
! This document covers working with private IP
Addresses. If you are working with global IP
Addresses, contact your Authorized Service Dealer.
! Creating the Alias
When creating aliases, DO NOT use the “#” symbol as
the first character.
You can use the numbers 0 through 9 and the symbols #
and * when creating the alias.
