• Check if the computer name of the NIC is different from the
computer name on the network.
Error writing to Prn1.
• Check if the printer is online.
• If there is an error message indicating the paper has run
out, add more paper and cancel the error.
• Check whether another user is printing. Print after the
other user has finished.

Blank pages or garbled text printed.
Symptoms:
When printing via a USB or TCP/IP connection, you receive
blank pages or pages printed with a line of garbled text.
Cause:
This issue is normally caused by the data being sent to the
printer in binary format. The printer may not be able to
understand data in this format, and therefore may print blank
pages or garbled text.
Solution:
In your application’s print options, there may be an option to
send data as ASCII. Choose this option, and print your
document.
For example, in Adobe Photoshop 7 or Adobe Photoshop CS:
1. Click the File menu and select Print with Preview.
2. Click the box Show More Options.
3. From the pop-up menu, choose Output.
4. From the pop-up menu Encoding, choose ASCII.
Banner print is rotated by 90 degrees and is
printed at the bottom of the paper.
