Oceanian and European models



STANDBY/ON button [24, 27]
This button is used to set the DV-SP405 to On or
Standby.



HDMI indicator
Lights when the DV-SP405 is recognized by
another HDMI or DVI/HDCP compatible compo-
nent.



Disc tray [27]
Discs are loaded here.



Remote control sensor [12]
This sensor receives control signals from the remote
controller.



TOP MENU button [29]
This button is used to display the top menu on a
DVD-Video disc.

Cursor & ENTER button [25]
These buttons are used to navigate onscreen menus.

MENU button [29]
This button is used to display the menu on a
DVD-Video disc or to open the “Disc Navigator”
when using a Video CD, audio CD, DivX Video/
WMV, MP3/WMA/MPEG-4 AAC/JPEG disc, or
VR format DVD-R/-RW disc.

USB port [41] (not North American model)
This port is used to connect your USB device.

DVD/USB button [41] (not North American
model)
This button is used to select the playback media.
Press to change between DVD mode and USB
mode.

(previous/next) buttons [28]

The Previous button is used to select the previous
chapter or track. During playback it selects the
beginning of the current chapter or track.
The Next button is used to select the next chapter or
track.

(stop) button [28]

This button is used to stop playback.

(pause) button [28]

This button is used to pause playback.

(4

(play) button [27, 28]

This button is used to start playback.

(open/close) button [27]

This button is used to open and close the disc tray.

HOME MENU button [25]
This button is used to open and close the Home
Menu.

RETURN button [25]
This button is used to return to the main menu with-
out saving your changes.
