Turn the Power OFF after Checking the Battery
Turn the power OFF after charged, unless using the flash immediately. Also,
turn the power OFF before mounting it on the camera, and after use.
1 Set the ON/OFF switch to the OFF side.

Turn the Power ON to Check the Battery
Load batteries into the flash before attempting to turn the power ON. As soon
as power is turned ON, the flash automatically performs a battery check and
starts charging the flash.
1 Set the ON/OFF switch to the ON side.
2 Check that the CHARGED lamp is lit.
If the CHARGED lamp is out, the flash is not yet fully charged for firing.
MEMO
• If the CHARGED lamp does not come ON at all or if it takes time to light up, the batteries
may be run down too much to charge the flash. In such case, replace them with fresh
batteries.
