Before using your mixer for the first time, wash thebeaters in

hot/soapy water ,

orthe

dishwasher . Rinse and dry

.

Be sure speed control is in the “OFF” or “0” position and unplugged from an

electrical outlet. Insert beaters one at a time, by placing stem end ofbeaters into

the opening drive holes on the bottom of the mixer . T

in until beater clicks into position.

Note that the beaters are interchangeable but doughhooks are not. When

using

dough hooks, thedough hook with the collar higher on the

stem (see

feature

drawing) towards the tip fits into the flat drive hole on the mixer

. Thedough

hook withthe collar lower on the stem fits into the

drive hole with the raised

rim. If dough hooks donot click into

the drive holes, reverse and try again.

Firmly pull out a suitable length of cord and plug into an appropriate outlet.

When fully extended, the green mark on the cord is to indicate maximum usable

length. DONOT

pull the cord out beyond the red mark or you may damage

thecord.

IXING

Slowly guide mixer around sides and through centerof bowl, going in the same

direction. Becareful not to overbeat the mixture. Overbeating

tends to make

some mixtures tough.

Whenever scraping of the bowl is required, stopt

hemixer and

scrape sides and

bottom ofbowl

with a rubber spatula asneeded. T

speedcontrol to “OFF” or

“0” and rest mixeron its heel rest while adding ingredients. Be

sure to position

beaters over mixingbowl so

anydrippings will fall back into

mixingbowl.

When mixing is complete, set speed control to “1” and raisebeaters slowly

frombatter to clean off clinging food. Be

sure toturn unit to “0” before raising

beaters completely outof

mixing bowl.

Be sure speed control is at the “OFF” or “0” position and cord is removed from

electrical outlet. Scrape off any excess batter with a rubber spatula. Grasp the

stems of the beaters with your hand and press the beater eject button. Beaters

will release intoyour hand.

Two mixer tools are used as follows:

Beaters:

For easy mixing of dough, eggs, cream, mayonnaise and for

mixing or stirring sauces and pudding powders.

Dough Hooks:

For the preparation of heavy yeast dough orshort pastries.

Also potato dough, dumplings and potato pancakes.

Set the position selector to “0” position. Insert theend part of the dough hook

or the beater into one round opening on the underside of the mixer

attentionto the left and right position, press

and turn slightly until it is engaged

in the correct position.

Press down eject button. The hook or beaters can thenbe easily removed.

1.Set the position selector to the “0” position. Unplug

the mixer , insert the

beaters or dough hooks.

2.Insert the plug into a working electrical outlet.

3.Place ingredients into a bowl. Place the mixer handle directly in the center

ofthe bowl.

4.Select the speed setting that matches your mixing needs.

5.Operate the mixer

.

6.Guide the beaters continuously through the mixture.

Whenever you wish

toscrape the sides and bottom of the bowl, first move the position selector

tothe “0” position. Then place the mixer on the heel rest so that the beaters

can drain into the bowl.

7.When stirring heavy dough, do not insert dough hooks more

than 1inch deep

into the dough so as to avoid somedough being drawn into the machine.

1.Before cleaning any part of the mixer

, set the positionselector to the

“0” position, then unplug the cord from the outlet and eject

all parts thoroughly before using them again.

2.The beaters may be washed in hot, soapy water or

in a dishwasher .

3.The mixer and the cord can be cleaned with a damp cloth but the final clean

must be with a dry cloth.

o remove stubborn spots, wipe surfaces with a piece of cloth, slightly

dampened, in soapy water ora mild, non-abrasive cleaner

.

5.Do not use any abrasive cleaner or material to clean any part of the

handmixer

, as it can harm the body of theproduct.

Hold the plug end by hand and press the cord retractbutton to reel the cord

intothe mixer housing

(failure to hold plug may cause plug to whip around).

Notethat the last few inches of cord may

need tobe

pushed into the housing

while therelease button is depressed. Store

aclean, dry location

such as a cabinet orshelf. Store

2. No matter where the position selector is situated, you can get a higher speed

Antes de usar su batidora por primera vez, lave los batidores con jabón y agua caliente

warrants that for a period of one year from the date of purchase, this product will be free from defects
in material and workmanship. Sunbeam, at its option, will repair or replace this product or any component
of the product found to be defective during the warranty period. Replacement will be made with a new
or remanufactured product or component. If the product is no longer available, replacement may be made
with a similar product of equal or greater value. This is your exclusive warranty.

This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase and

This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the following:

authorized Sunbeam service center. Further, the warranty does not cover: Acts of God, such as fire,

What Are the Limits on Sunbeam’s Liability?

Sunbeam shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the breach of any
express, implied or statutory warranty or condition.

Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty or condition of merchantability
