Overall Functions

Pan

Sets the stereo pan position of the right-hand keyboard voice (selected in

the VOICE section). The pan range is from “–7” (full left) to +7 (full right).
The default setting for the current voice can be recalled by pressing the
[–/NO] and [+/YES] buttons simultaneously.

Accompaniment Volume

Sets the volume of the accompaniment sound in relation to the keyboard

and song melody track sound. The range is from “00” to “127”. A setting of
“00” produces no sound. “127” produces maximum volume. The default
setting — “100” — can be recalled by pressing the [–/NO] and [+/YES]
buttons simultaneously.

Touch Sensitivity

This function sets the keyboard touch sensitivity when the TOUCH RE-

SPONSE function (page 17) is on. The range is from “00” to “127”. The
higher the value the higher the sensitivity. Higher sensitivity means that
greater volume can be produced by playing the keys relatively softly.

• The default setting — “100” —

can be recalled by pressing the
[–/NO] and [+/YES] button simul-
taneously.

• The “TouchSns” function can be

quickly selected by pressing and
holding the [TOUCH RE-
SPONSE] button.

Voice Set

The VOICE SET feature brings out the best in each individual voice by

automatically setting a range of important voice-related parameters when-
ever a voice is selected. The parameters that may be set by the VOICE SET
feature are listed below. This function lets you turn VOICE SET on or off, as
required. The Voice Set function is turned on whenever the power switch is
turned on.

• If the Voice Set function is on,

the pan setting = 0 will be se-
lected automatically whenever a
different voice is selected via the
VOICE function.

• Negative values can be entered

by pressing the number buttons
while holding the [–/NO] button.

• The Voice Set function has no

effect on the keyboard percus-
sion voices.
