USING THE BUTLER 700C HANDSET

ATTENTION : How to use the handset depends on the base to which the handset has
been associated. Some of the below mentioned functions will not be available because
the are not supported by the DECT base. Especially the functions ‘identification caller’
and ‘missed calls list’ strongly depend on the base station. The following functions are
for the handset that has been associated to the Topcom Butler 700 base.

ACTIVATE/DEACTIVATE THE HANDSET

To save the rechargeable batteries of the handset, you can deactivate the handset by

pressing and holding the

key for 1 second. Follow the same procedure to activate

the handset. If you put the deactivated handset on the base station, it will be activated
again automatically.
When the handset is deactivated :
-the display is empty.
-the handset can no longer receive calls
-the batteries are not being discharged.

RECEIVING A CALL

When the handset rings, press

to answer. You are then connected to your

correspondent. If the handset is lying on the base when the telephone starts to ring, you
just need to pick up the handset and you are immediately connected to the line. You do
not need to press any button.

When you press

when the telephone rings, the handset automatically changes to
