band which ranges approximately from 12 to

18 GHz.

The LNB (Low Noise Block converter)

is used to take a wide band of relatively
high frequencies, amplify and convert
them to similar signals that is carried
at a much lower frequency, which is
called Intermediate Frequency (IF).

High frequencies from satellites are
converted into 950 to 2150 MHz by a
LNB.

Select the Installation > LNB Set-
ting

menu to configure the LNB

settings.

You should see a

screen like the left figure.

Pressing the

 

OK

button on the Satellite Name option displays

the satellite list in alphabetic order. Select the satellite toward

which your antenna is set to face.

You have to specify which tuner is connected to your selected

satellite. If it is LNB 1 IN, set the Tuner Select option to Tuner

; otherwise, set it to Tuner 2.

If you have connected the IF 1 OUT and LNB 2 IN with a loop-
through cable, then set the Connection Type option to Loop
