CONNECTING HDMI DIGITAL VIDEO AND AUDIO TO A TV AND (OPTIONAL) SURROUND-SOUND DECODER

HDMI CONNECTION TO A TV

Your Blu-ray player includes different connection options.

Digital HDMI connection is recommended for the highest

quality video and audio performance.
If your TV includes HDMI digital connections, connect

an HDMI cable (not supplied) as shown for the highest

quality of picture and sound from your TV.

HDMI CONNECTION TO A SURROUND-

SOUND DECODER

If your audio-visual system includes a separate surround-

sound decoder with HDMI connections, you can use two

HDMI cables (not supplied) to connect your player to the

decoder and then to the TV.
NOTE: It is advisable to check that the settings for HDMI

digital audio are correct for your AV surround decoder.

These can be found in the section ‘System settings - audio

category’.

of the decoder to the TV
