Cooking tips

Place the frozen block, spinach for example, in the pot. Add liquid to the cooker as

instructed by the manufacturer. Cover the pot. Select a temperature range of

140Ć160 ºF (60Ć70 ºC). Stir occasionally.

Cook with less water than usual. Always cook with the lid on.

Also use lids with foods that tend to produce a lot of foam. This saves energy.

Cook the food that you are preparing at the recommended temperature range. After

adding the ingredients that will be used for thickening the food, thicken the liquid at

175Ć195 ºF (80Ć90 ºC).

Use more liquid the next time you cook that particular food.

Always put the lid on the pot. This will ensure that the temperature control system

will work optimally.

Timer

The timer can be used in two different ways:

D

to turn off the heating element after a set period of time

D

as a kitchen timer

Enter a time for the desired heating element.
This feature is intended to turn off the heating element after a set period of time. It

should not be used for long periods of time, especially at high temperature settings.

Also, even when using the timer, you must not leave your cooktop unattended. After

each use, be sure that the cooktop is switched off.

WARNING

When using the timer, always keep an eye on the cooktop

and do not allow anything to boil over or burn. Boilovers can cause smoke

and some foods and oils may catch on fire if left on high temperature

settings.

1. Select the heating element and set the heat setting.
2. Touch TIMER.
0 will appear next to the heating element display. ‹‹ and min will appear in the

time display.
3. Set the timer setting in the setting area within the next 10 seconds.
