Overview of buttons and the display

The following pages explain what each button does — some of the buttons have more than
one function depending upon whether you’re playing music or not.

Volume up Increases the volume level.

SELECT– When using the Thomson Lyra Jukebox menu, selects a highlighted item. When

you’re creating a User Playlist and you’ve highlighted a title, SELECT tags a song to be

included in a User Playlist.

MODE Accesses the mode menu where you can choose the following playback modes:

NORMAL, REPEAT, REPEAT 1, REPEAT ALL, SHUFFLE, and REPEAT ALL SHUFFLE. For details

about playback modes, go to page 34.

LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) – This is where the Thomson Lyra’s user interface appears

(go to page 21 for an explanation of the items that appear on the LCD during playback).

SAVE – Saves a User Playlist that consists of the songs you’ve tagged. You can create a
new playlist or add songs to an existing User Playlist.

Volume down Decreases the volume level.
