3. GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The N-DR2000 Network Video Recorder allows images and audio digital signals originating from network
cameras and network video transmitters connected to a LAN to be recorded to a hard disk drive.
Because the digital signals produced by such equipment are stored as is, they can be played back with high
clarity and quality.
It is possible to record images from up to 16 network cameras or network video transmitters at once, and to
record and play back up to eight images simultaneously.
With the use of a N-SD2000 software decoder, images stored on the network video recorder can also be
searched, retrieved, and played back.
The system also uses an NTP server function to synchronize the time throughout the system.

4. FEATURES

• Allows images (and audio) from network cameras/video transmitters, as well as event data, to be recorded,

distributed, and stored over a network.

• The recorder can have its settings adjusted over the network using a PC equipped with standard Web

browser software (such as Internet Explorer).

• An NTP server function can be used to synchronize the time throughout the system automatically.
• If the recorder malfunctions, an email notification can be sent to a pre-set email address to make the

administrator aware of the problem.
