Alarm Operation

This clock radio features two alarms that can be set and used independently. You can set both
alarms to wake two people at different times, set one alarm as a back-up to the other in case
you shut off the first alarm and go back to sleep, or use one alarm for weekdays and the other
for weekend wake up times.
Note: This clock radio also features “Sure Alarm” so that if a power failure occurs or the AC

cord is accidentally disconnected, if you have installed backup batteries, the unit will
change to Buzzer alarm to wake you up.

Setting Buzzer Alarm Time

1. Press the

Alarm Set Button twice. The display will flash the buzzer alarm time and

the Buzzer Alarm icon will appear.

Following Setting Radio Alarm Time steps 2 to 4 to adjust buzzer alarm wake up time.

To activate the buzzer alarm, press the

Buzzer Alarm Button. The Buzzer Alarm icon

will appear on the display when the alarm is active. The buzzer alarm will play for
approximately 1 hour and turn off automatically. This cycle will repeat every 24 hours
unless the controls are changed.

To shut off the buzzer alarm press the

Power Off/Alarm Reset Button. If you don’t

want the alarm to come on the next day, turn off the alarm by pressing the

Buzzer

Alarm Button until the Buzzer Alarm icon disappears.

Confirming Alarm Times

To recheck or confirm the alarm time settings at any time, press the

Alarm Set Button

once to view the current radio alarm time setting, twice to see the current buzzer alarm time
setting and once more to revert to the current time display.

Setting Radio Alarm Time

1. Press the

Alarm Set Button. The display will flash the radio alarm time and the Radio

Alarm icon will appear.

Press the

<< or

>> Button to set the time you want to wake up. Hold the button

over 5 seconds, to advance the alarm time forward or backward faster. Remember to set
the correct AM or PM time.

Press the

7.5.2 Button to select when the alarm will come on: everyday, weekdays

or weekend only.

Press the

Alarm Set Button again or wait for about 7 seconds to return to normal

operation mode.

Please select the station and volume you want to hear when you wake up (see Listening
to Radio).

To activate the radio alarm, press the

Radio Alarm Button. The Radio Alarm icon will

appear on the display when the alarm is active. The radio alarm will play for approximately
1 hour and turn off automatically. This cycle will repeat every 24 hours unless the controls
are changed.

To shut off the radio alarm, press the

Power Off/Alarm Reset Button. If you don’t
