CD-ROM Software:
You can install the following software from the attached CD-ROM.
¶ Image Expert
Use to edit or print captured images and replay captured movies.
For more information, see the manual included with the attached
CD-ROM.
¶ USB driver
Install this driver for capturing images from the camera via the USB
connector on your PC.
¶ Quick Time
Necessary to replay captured images. See the attached CD-ROM for
more information.
Install this software following installation of Image Expert.
¶ Arcsoft PhotoBase for Palm
Use to view images in a memory card for the camera on Palm OS
PDA. For more information, see page 99.
<Caution>
Make sure of the checkpoints below before proceeding:
• your PC has a CD-ROM driver
• your PC has a USB port
• you have an appropriate graphic software.
By installing the PC interface software and drivers to your computer,
you will be able to:
• Capture images
You can capture images photographed by Toshiba Digital Still
Camera to your computer. An accessory USB cable is available for
connecting the camera with your computer.
• Edit static images
By using Image Expert, you can edit captured static images and
output to a printer connected with your computer.
• Replay movies
You can replay captured movies.
• Save movies
You can save captured or edited movies to your computer.

Recommended Windows Environment
¶ Operating System : Microsoft Windows 98, 98SE, ME, 2000
Professional, XP Home Edition, or XP Professional has to be
preinstalled.
If the operating system you are using is one of the above, but is
updated from the previous version, the correct behavior is not
guaranteed.
¶ Memory : 64 MB or more
¶ CPU : MMX Pentium 200 MHz or above
¶ a USB port required
¶ a CD-ROM drive required
¶ Required hard disk space: 20 MB or more
Recommended Macintosh Environment
¶ Mac OS version 8.6 to 9.1 or OS X (excluding the OS server) have to
be preinstalled.
If the operating system you are using is one of the above, but is
updated from the previous version, the correct behavior is not
guaranteed.
