SPECIAL FEATURES

VOICE ACTIVATION: BATTERY-SAVING FEATURE FOR CAMERA

The Voice Activation dial is on the side of the camera. When this is switched on, the

camera will only transmit a picture when sound is detected in the child’s room. If

there is no sound your screen will be blank. You can adjust the sensitivity of this feature by
turning the dial to the right or the left. The use of this feature will prolong the life of the
batteries in the camera when powering the camera with batteries only.

LCD ON/OFF: BATTERY-SAVING FEATURE FOR MONITOR
You can turn the screen of the video receiver off and still maintain the sound monitor function.
To use this function slide the LCD ON/OFF button on the side of the monitor to the desired
position. The use of this feature will prolong the life of the batteries in the monitor when
powering the monitor with batteries only.

AUDIO/VISUAL OUTPUT LINK

You can connect the video receiver to your own television by using the cable provided.

Connect the black end of the AV cable to the AV Output jack on the side of the video receiver
and the other end of the cable to the audio and video input jacks of your television or VCR.
If your television has a Picture-in-Picture feature, you can use this to monitor you baby while
watching television.

MAINTAINING YOUR MONITOR

1. Do not have alkaline batteries in the battery compartment while using AC

power. Having alkaline batteries installed in the battery compartment while
using the AC adapter may damage the battery compartments and the units.

2. Replace the batteries in the camera when the power indicator turns to orange.
