Battery Replacement

1. Remove screws and rotate the back cover counterclockwise.
2. Pull out and remove the battery.
3. Disconnect the terminals and replace the battery with the same type and size

listed in the Specifications section in the back of this manual.

4. Replace the battery compartment cover and screws.
5. Turn the spotlight’s ON/OFF switch to the ON position to ensure proper

operation of spotlight.

Safe Battery Disposal

Contains a maintenance-free, sealed, non-spillable, lead acid battery,
which must be disposed of properly. Recycling is required, contact your
local authority for information. Failure to comply with local, state and
federal regulations can result in fines, or imprisonment. For more
information on recycling this battery, call toll-free (877) 288-7722.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Problem

Possible Cause

Possible solution

Switch is ON,
Power LED is lit
AND Spotlight
will not light.

Internal battery power is Low. Turn switch OFF and using the battery status

indicator, check for Low battery and if Low
recharge the spotlight with either the AC or DC
charging adapter provided.

Power was interrupted to
the spotlight while the
bulb was hot.

A hot bulb may take up to 10 minutes to turn on
following a power interruption. Turn switch OFF
and wait 10 minutes for bulb to cool down before
reusing the light

AC or DC recharge adapter
is plugged into the light

Turn switch OFF, unplug the recharge adapter
and then turn the switch back ON.

Spotlight needs to be
manually reset.

Turn switch OFF wait 2s and turn the switch back
ON. If problem persists return the spotlight to an
authorized service center for repair.

Spotlight is damaged.

Turn switch OFF and return the spotlight to an
authorized service center for repair.

Unit will not
recharge.

Vehicle ignition is not
in Accessory position.

On some vehicles the ignition must be in the
accessory position to supply power to the 12V
receptacles. Turn the vehicle ignition to the
accessory position and try charging the
spotlight again.

Poor DC plug connection

Check DC adapter plug is well connected and
try recharging the light.

DC recharge adapter
is damaged

See an authorized service center to get a
replacement DC recharge adapter.

Poor 120V AC recharge
adapter connection

Check that the adapter is well connected to the
120V AC outlet and to the light and try
recharging the light.

No power at the 120V
AC outlet

Try another 120V AC powered device in the
outlet to see if it has power. If it does not the 120V
AC circuit breaker may need to be reset. Contact
a certified electrician if you are not comfortable
resetting the 120V AC branch circuit.
