4. Open the Glass Door. Place the Wire Rack in the top Shelf Position, with

the Wire Rack up or inverted (see Figure 5, positions #1 and #2) leaving
approximately 1 to 2 inches between the food and the Upper Heating
Elements. (See Figure 6.)

5. Place the food on the Oven Pan Assembly. Brush food with sauces or oil as

desired. Place the Oven Pan Assembly with food into the Toaster Oven-
Broiler and close the Glass Door. The Oven Pan will catch any juices that
drip during broiling. Never cover the Broiling Insert with aluminum foil as
this prevents juices and fat from dripping into the Oven Pan.

6. Set the Temperature Control to 450˚F.
7. Turn the Select Cooking Mode Control to BROIL ( ).
8. Set the Timer for the desired time. When setting the Timer for less than

30 minutes, turn the Timer Control past the 30 Minute mark, then back
to the desired time.
The Power Light will illuminate.

CAUTION: As soon as the Timer is engaged, the Toaster Oven-Broiler will

turn ON. The top Heating Elements will remain ON for the entire
cooking time.

CAUTION: As soon as the Timer is engaged the Upper Heating Elements

will become hot immediately. Use care not to place anything on top of the
Toaster Oven-Broiler. Do not touch Handgrip, Toaster Oven-Broiler or
any part of the Toaster Oven-Broiler without wearing oven mitts.

9. Turn the Internal Oven Light ON; press the Light Switch to the (-)

position. Watch food until desired color or temperature is achieved. You
may turn the Oven OFF and cancel cooking at any time by turning the
Timer to the OFF position.

10. Broil according to package or recipe time. When broiling food that needs to

be cooked on both sides, set the Timer for the time necessary for 1 side.

11. At the end of the preset BROIL time, a signal will sound, and the

Timer will finish in the OFF position. The Power Light will turn OFF.

CAUTION: DO NOT LEAVE TOASTER OVEN-BROILER

UNATTENDED DURING BROILING.

12. Open the Glass Door. Wearing protective oven mitts, attach Handgrip to

the Oven Pan Assembly (see Figure 8 on page 16) and carefully pull about
halfway out of the Toaster Oven-Broiler. Turn the food, slide the Wire Rack
and Oven Pan Assembly into the Toaster Oven-Broiler and close the
Toaster Oven-Broiler Glass Door. Turn the Timer to the desired time.

13. When the BROIL time is complete, a signal will sound, and the

Timer will finish in the OFF position. The Power Light will turn OFF.

the Wire Rack or Oven Pan (see Figure 8) and remove food from the
Toaster Oven-Broiler.

CAUTION: Be careful when removing food from the back of the Wire Rack.

The inside of the Toaster Oven-Broiler is very hot.

15. Close Glass Door.
