Install the Windows ® XP Service Pack 2 or later version before using Serial ATA.
3.4 Connectors
2. USB device wake-up (3-pin USBPW1-4, USBPW56)
Set these jumpers to +5V to wake up the computer from S1 sleep mode
(CPU stopped, DRAM refreshed, system running in low power mode) using
the connected USB devices. Set these jumpers to +5VSB to wake up the
compurer from S3 and S4 sleep modes (no power to CPU, DRAM in slow
refresh, power supply in reduced power mode).

1.. Serial ATA connectors (7-pin SATA1, SATA2, SATA3)
These connectors are for the Serial ATA signal cables for Serial ATA
3Gb/s hard disk and optical disk drives. The Serial ATA 3Gb/s is backward
compatible with Serial ATA 1.5Gb/s specification. The data transfer rate of the
Serial ATA 3Gb/s is faster than the standard parallel ATA with 133 MB/s (Ultra
DMA133).
