The Rnger Equvalence Number (REN) s used to determne how many devces you may connect to your telephone lne and stll have them

ring when you are called. The REN for this product is encoded as the 6th and 7th characters following the US: in the product identifier (e.g., if

## is 03, the REN is 0.3). In most, but not all areas, the sum of all RENs should be five (5.0) or less. For more information, please contact your

local telephone company.
Ths equpment may not be used wth Party Lnes. If you have specally wred alarm dalng equpment connected to your telephone lne, ensure

the connecton of ths equpment does not dsable your alarm equpment. If you have questons about what wll dsable alarm equpment, consult

your telephone company or a qualified installer.
If ths equpment s malfunctonng, t must be unplugged from the modular jack untl the problem has been corrected. Repars to ths telephone

equpment can only be made by the manufacturer or ts authorzed agents. For repar procedures, follow the nstructons outlned under the

Lmted Warranty.
If ths equpment s causng harm to the telephone network, the telephone company may temporarly dscontnue your telephone servce.

The telephone company is required to notify you before interrupting service. If advance notice is not practical, you will be notified as soon as

possible. You will be given the opportunity to correct the problem and the telephone company is required to inform you of your right to file a

complant wth the FCC. Your telephone company may make changes n ts facltes, equpment, operaton, or procedures that could affect the

proper functonng of ths product. The telephone company s requred to notfy you f such changes are planned.
If ths product s equpped wth a corded or cordless handset, t s hearng ad compatble.
If this product has memory dialing locations, you may choose to store emergency telephone numbers (e.g., police, fire, medical) in these

locatons. If you do store or test emergency numbers, please:
Remain on the line and briefly explain the reason for the call before hanging up.
Perform such actvtes n off-peak hours, such as early mornng or late evenng.

The term ‘’IC: ‘’ before the certification/registration number only signifies that the Industry Canada technical specifications were met.

allowed to be connected to a telephone nterface. The termnaton on an nterface may consst of any combnaton of devces subject only to the

requirement that the sum of the RENs of all the devices does not exceed five.
