Troubleshooting
Picture is cut off/with sidebar screen.
x Use Auto Adjust.
x Make sure the aspect ratio is set correctly.
Blocky images appear in TV mode.
x Check your antenna connection. If necessary, rotate the antenna and wait up to 10
seconds for signal.
x Reduce signal splitters and excessively long cables.
x Replace poor antenna cables and/or connectors to improve signal quality.
Wrong or Abnormal Colors
x If any colors (red, green, or blue) are missing, check the video cable to make sure it
is connected securely. Loose or broken pins in the cable connector could cause an
improper connection.
x Connect the High Definition LCD TV to another computer.
Snow Appears on Screen
x Check your antenna connection. If necessary, rotate the antenna and wait up to 10
seconds for signal.
x Check the TV / CATV selection.
x Make sure the external device is HDCP compliant.
AUDIO Interconnection Issues
x Remember that S-Video and Composite AV1 share the same audio source.
No Sound
x Check the audio connection.
x Press MUTE on the remote control, so that MUTE disappears from the screen.
x Check the audio settings. The High Definition LCD TV audio may be set to SAP or
minimum.
x Press the Volume + (Up) key on the remote control.
Parental Control Password is “LOST”
x In the unlikely occurrence, select “PASSWORD EDIT” and enter “0000” to reset the
password.
