TV Menu

If Initial Setup was cancelled when you first used your HDTV, or setup has changed (such as switching
from Antenna to Cable), channels can be scanned using the TV TUNER setup menu.

1. Press the MENU button on the remote control or the side of the TV and the Picture menu will be

shown on the screen.

2. Press either

on the side of the HDTV to highlight

the TV menu.

3. Press the MENU button to select.
4. Press either

on the side of the HDTV to select a TV

menu option.

5. Once the menu option is highlighted, press either $ or # on the remote

control or VOL + or VOL – on the side of the HDTV to adjust the setting.

6. Press the LAST key once to return to the previous screen or repeatedly to

return to your program if the task has been completed.


TV menu options:

Tuner Mode

Select Cable or Air (Antenna) depending upon which equipment you have
attached to the DTV / TV Input.

Auto Search

Automatically search for TV channels that are available in your area. The TV
will search for analog and digital channels.

Partial Channel Search

If channels are missing after the auto search process, a partial channel search
can be performed within a specified channel range. Select to scan for Analog,
Digital, or both Analog/Digital channels, then press the

button to highlight

the “To” and “From” selection. Press the # button to select the range of
channel numbers you want to start searching in. Press MENU to start channel
search.

Skip Channel

After the TV has stored all of the available channels in memory, channels may
be removed. Press the # button to select the channel to be skipped when
using the CH

buttons. You will still be able to select this channel

using the number buttons on the remote control.

MTS

This option allows the selection of a second audio program, which may contain commentary or a different
language, such as Spanish.
