■ Playing MP3/JPEG/DivX ® /WMA
discs
This DVD receiver can play MP3, JPEG, DivX ® and
WMA files on a personally recorded CD-R/RW disc
or commercial CD.
1 Load a disc.
→
The disc reading time may exceed 30 seconds due
to the complexity of the directory/file configuration.
→
The data disc menu appears on the TV screen.
2 Playback starts automatically. If not, press h.
During playback, you can:
1 Press b / a to select another track/file in the
current folder.
2 Press e to pause playback.
3 Press h to resume playback.
– It may not be possible to play certain MP3, JPEG,
DivX ® and WMA discs due to the configuration and
characteristics of the discs or the recording conditions.
– It is normal to experience an occasional pixelation during
DivX
® playback due to poor clarity of digital contents
during internet downloading.
– During the playback of the JPEG pictures, press / /
/ to rotate the pictures.
Selecting a folder and track/file
1 Press / to select a folder, and then press
ENTER (OK) to open the folder.
2 Press / to select a track/file.
3 Press ENTER (OK) to confirm your selection.

Playback starts from the selected file to the end of
the folder.
Playing MP3 music and JPEG pictures
simultaneously
1 Load a disc that contains both music and picture data.
→
The disc menu appears on the TV screen.
2 Select an MP3 track.
3 During MP3 music playback, select a picture from the
TV screen, and then press h.
→
The picture files are played back one after another
until the end of the folder.
Stopping the playback
• Press MENU, and then press s.
Some files on Kodak or JPEG discs may be distorted during
playback due to the configuration and characteristics of the
discs.
■ Playing Super Audio CDs
1 Load a Super Audio CD.
→
The disc menu appears on the TV screen.
2 Playback starts automatically.
– If the Super Audio CD consists of multi-channel and
stereo tracks, multi-channel tracks have the priority for
playback. For details about Super Audio CD, see page 53.
– Programming function is not available when playing back
Super Audio CD tracks.
To playback stereo tracks
• Use / to make your selection from the disc
menu, and then press h.
