Note on digital signals that exceed 48 kHz

CinemaStation’s digital input jack can input a sampling
frequency up to 96 kHz. For details read the owner’s
manual of the device connected to the digital input jack.
Keep in mind the points below when inputting a digital
signal that exceeds 48 kHz.
• DSP Programs are not selectable. You can only listen to

normal 2-channel stereo from the Front Speakers.

• During playback, you cannot adjust the volume level of

Center and Surround L/R Speakers.

• Depending on the “* Speaker Set” setting in the SET

MENU, the Subwoofer may output sound.

(Format)

Shows the input signal format. When the digital input
cannot be recognized, the mode is set to analog.

(Audio Channels)

Shows the number of audio channels an input signal
contains (only when Dolby Digital or DTS is input).
For example, “in: 3/2/LFE” indicates 3 Front Channels,
2 Surround Channels and LFE.
“1+1” indicates Main + Sub in bilingual broadcasts or
other 2 channel audio, and MLT indicates 3-channel or
more multi-channel audio.

fs

Shows the frequency sampling of an input signal (only
when digital signal is input). If the sampling frequency
cannot be measured, “unknown” appears.

rate (bit rate)

Shows the amount of data an input signal contains per
second (only Dolby Digital and DTS). If the bit rate
cannot be measured, “unknown” appears.

flg (flag)

Shows a recognition signal (flag), in an input signal and
initiates an action (only Dolby Digital and DTS). If the
flag cannot be recognized, “None” appears.
