Changing the driver setting (MIDI Patch Screen)

You can change the I/O assignment of the computer’s output port and the UX256’s
output port. The left column shows the computer’s output ports (OUT 1-16), and the
top column shows the UX256’s output ports (1-16). With the default settings, ports
with the same number are connected to each other. However, you can change this
setting by checking the check boxes.

If you check multiple check boxes vertically, MIDI signals from multiple output ports
on the computer are merged and transmitted to one output port on the UX256. If you
check multiple check boxes horizontally, a MIDI signal from one output port on the
computer is distributed to multiple output ports on the UX256.

I/O ports and the port numbers.

3 to MIDI OUT 1 on the UX256

Check the check boxes as shown on the
right, and click [OK] to enable the setting.
