1. Connect a foot switch (FS01) to the

CONTROL IN jack.

2. Press the USB/GLOBAL key to light it and

open the GLOBAL menu.

3. Use the effect type [▼]/[▲] keys to select

"FootSwitch."

4. Turn Parameter knob 1 to set the foot

switch function.

The foot switch can be set to one of the following

functions.

BP/MT

Set the unit to bypass/mute.

BANK UP Increase the bank number by one

with each press of the foot switch.

RHYTHM Turn Rhythm mode ON/OFF.

BPM TAP Set the tempo used for the rhythm,

looper and effect by pressing the

foot switch repeatedly at the

desired tempo.

DL TAP

Set the Time parameter of the

DELAY module by pressing the

foot switch repeatedly.

DL HOLD Turn hold delay ON/OFF. Hold

delay is a function that allows the

delay sound to be repeated without

decay (see the illustration below).

DL MUTE Turn the DELAY module's input

mute ON/OFF.

To use DL TAP, DL HOLD or DL MUTE, you

must turn the DELAY module ON.

5. After making the setting, press the USB/

GLOBAL key again to turn its light out.

HINT

The foot switch function setting affects all

patches. Moreover, this setting is saved even

when the power is turned OFF.

Using a Foot Switch

You can connect an optional foot switch to the CONTROL IN jack, and use it to control additional settings of the unit
with your feet, for example, by changing banks and operating effects.
