Does the busy LED light up correctly when a disc is loaded?

When a disc is loaded, the busy LED flashes and then lights up green if

the CRW-70 drive is connected to a computer, or flashes green and then

goes off if the CRW-70 drive is being used as a CD/MP3 player.

If no data can be read from a specific disc, data may be written in a

format that the drive cannot recognize, or the disc may be damaged or

deformed.

If the busy LED lights up orange when the CRW-70 drive is connected to

a computer, or the display monitor reads “– – – ” (the disc is not

recognized) when the CRW-70 drive is used as a CD/MP3 player,

whatever type of disc is loaded, consult your nearest Yamaha dealer

(listed at the back of this manual).

Button operation cannot be performed when the CRW-70 drive is being
used as a CD/MP3 player.

Is the USB cable connected to the CRW-70 drive?

Remove the USB cable connected to the computer or turn off the power

switch of the computer. If the CRW-70 drive still does not work, consult

your nearest Yamaha dealer (listed at the back of this manual).

The playback of an audio CD (CD-DA) or MP3 disc cannot be heard.

Check that the volume is not set to the minimum level.

Check that all connections are secure, such as the headphones to the

headphone jack of the CRW-70 drive or the audio device to the

LINE OUT jack of the CRW-70 drive.
