3.1 Troubleshooting and FAQ’s

Please check the manual thoroughly before contacting your service provider and read the

issues below:

Symptom Resolution

Enter PIN

Input the correct PIN number as supplied by Telstra. See section

1.3

Insert (U)SIM

Check you have inserted a valid (U)SIM card. See Installing the

(U)SIM Card

Enter password or

Unlock Code

Enter the unlock code. Default is 0000. See Settings, Security

(No) key tone when

pressing keys

Check the key tone settings in your current profile. See section

1.14

No incoming ring

tone

Check the ring tone and ringing volume settings in the profile.

Check the handset is not muted (Long press the # Key)

No alarm tone

Check the profile setting (silent) and the alarm ring setting

A phone number

cannot be dialled

Check whether any call restrictions are set. See Advanced Call

Settings, Section 2.13

Short message

cannot be sent

Check the SMS centre setting in the SMS-Settings menu.
