Safety instructions.

Danger of accidents

The drive machine must not be able to
descend on its own accord while the tool
is inserted; if necessary, the hexagon
nut (250) must be adjusted.
Before adjusting, pull the plug from
the socket and remove the
cap (480).
Caution!
Sensitive electronics under-
neath the cap.
See exploded drawing.

Risk of injury

For drilling in walls and ceilings, the tool
must be secured using the safety strap
supplied with it. The magnetic adhe-
sion is not activated during a cur-
rent interruption.
The tool may only be operated if the
shock-proof sockets fulfil the regulations;
detaching the earthing contact connec-
tions is not permissible.
Only use undamaged connecting cables
and, if necessary, shock-proof extension
cable and at regular intervals check that
they are not damaged.

Never allow your fin-
gers to enter the
rotating parts.

Do not rivet or screw any labels or signs
on the power tool. We recommend adhe-
sive labels.
The performance of the power tool to be
used must be such that the magnetic adhe-
sion force is not exceeded while working!
Danger of accidents!

Risk of injury

The mains voltage must correspond with
the voltage specifications on the power
tool.

Personal protective equipment.

When using this device wear the protec-
tive items stipulated for work using the
drive machine (see the operating instruc-
tions for the drive machine).

Handling.

The chipping protector (10) must
always be mounted to protect the user
from the chippings.

The contact surface for the magnetic foot
must be smooth, clean and rust-free.
Remove any varnish or flat coat.
The drill stand is not suitable for anti-mag-
netic materials.
For guaranteeing the magnetic adhesion
force also for steel materials of less than
12 mm thickness, the work piece should
be reinforced using an additional steel
plate.

Danger of injury! Danger of an
electric shock

When working on walls and ceilings,
avoid any (coolant) fluid penetrating the
magnetic drill stand. We recommend
working without any coolant.
Clamp the drive motor in the drive motor
holder at right angles. If necessary, use
reducing rings (accessories).
Connect the drive motor to the built-in
socket (6).

For switching ON/OFF.

First check that the connection cable
and plug are not defective.

Proceed in the given sequence!

Check that the magnetic switch (7) and
the switch on the drive machine are
switched off.
