■ Connect the drill stand to a
shock-proof socket.
■ Switch on the magnetic switch (7) to
ensure that the magnet clamps and that
the drill jig is exerting its magnetic
clamping force.
■ When working on walls and ceilings,
secure the unit with a safety strap (a).
■ Briefly press the button (5); the drive
motor is thereby made alive.
■ Turn on the drive motor with its own
switch.
■ After each interruption of current, the
button (5) must be pressed once again.
The magnetic foot (8) is monitored by a
current sensor. If the magnetic foot is
defective, the drive motor does not run.
After finishing work, switch off the switch
on the drive machine and the magnetic
switch (7), then pull out the plug of the
magnetic drill stand.
