If there seems to be a problem
Symptom Remedy/Cause
General
No sound comes out of the speakers. • Adjust the volume to the optimum level.
• Check the cords and connections.
No picture is displayed on the screen. Turn on the screen. (☞ page 8)
The unit does not work at all. Reset the unit. (☞ page 3)
<Display Sensor> does not work properly. The display sensor may malfunction when an object exists
close to the motion sensor. In this case, select [High] for
<Motion Sensitiv.>. (☞ page 11)
The remote controller does not work. • Deactivate the rear source. (☞ page 36) (While the rear
source is activated, the remote controller only functions
for operating the DVD/CD player.)
• Replace the battery.
The desired source button ( [AV-IN] or
[Apps] ) is not displayed on the <HOME>
screen.
Select an appropriate setting for <AV Input>. (☞ page
45)
The Apps switch button ([ ]) on the source
control screen or [Apps] button on the
<HOME> screen is not displayed.
Select an appropriate setting for <Navigation Input>.

TUNER
SSM automatic presetting does not work. Store stations manually. (☞ page 15 )
Static noise while listening to the radio. Connect the aerial firmly.

isc in general
Disc can be neither recognized nor played
back. Eject the disc forcibly. (☞ page 3)
Disc cannot be ejected. Unlock the disc. (☞ page 18)
• Recordable/Rewritable discs cannot be
played back.
• Tracks on the Recordable/Rewritable discs
cannot be skipped.
• Insert a finalized disc.
• Finalize the discs with the component which you used
for recording.
Playback does not start. The format of files is not supported by the unit.
No picture appears on the external monitor. • Connect the video cord correctly.
• Select the correct input on the external monitor.
