(3) Align the ELT/NAV Interface -B on the mounting structure.
(4) Mark the six holes needed for mounting, using the unit as a pattern. Hole pattern dimensions
are also illustrated in "Figure 6. ELT/NAV Interface -B Outline and Dimensions”, on page 43.
(5) Drill the six mounting holes with a #19 or 4.25 mm drill.
(6) Install the ELT/NAV Interface -B chassis with the 8-32 x 5/8” SS pan head phillips screws, flat
washers, lock washers, and nuts provided in the installation kit (455-6500), as shown in
"Figure 7. ELT/NAV Interface -B Mechanical Installation".
NOTE: The use of substitute mounting hardware is acceptable provided the hardware used
meets or exceeds the strength and corrosion resistance of the original hardware.
(a) Torque to 12 ±1 lb-in (136 ± 11 N•cm).
