Optional Accessories
The following accessories are designed to enhance the operation of your
GPSMAP 3005C chartplotter.
To obtain replacement parts and optional accessories, contact your Garmin
Dealer, Garmin Product Support in the U.S.A. at 800-800-1020, or Garmin
Europe at 44-0870-8501241.
WARNING: Garmin accessories have been designed and specifically tested for
use with Garmin products. Accessories offered by other manufacturers have not
been tested or approved for use with Garmin products. Use of such accessories
could cause damage to the GPSMAP 3005C and void the warranty.
Bluchart g2 Preprogramed Data Cards— enhance the basemap; featuring
additional data, including highly detailed coastal roads and points of interest such
as restaurants, lodging, local attractions and more. Full-color aerial photos of
ports, marinas, bridges, and navigational landmarks are also included on many
data cards.
GDl 30/GDl 30A Marine Weather XM Satelite Receiver—provides graphical
and textual marine XM WX weather information that can be viewed through the
GPSMAP 3005C when you subscribe to the XM WX Satellite Weather service.
GMS 10 Network Port Expander—enables you to connect more than two
MFDs and other Garmin Marine Network devices to share data such as weather,
mapping, sounder data, and position information.
GSD 20, GSD 21, and GSD 22 Remote Sounder Module and
Transducers—provides sonar capabilities to the GPSMAP 3005C.
GMR 20/40, GMR 21/41, and GMR 404/406 Marine Radar—adds important
radar information to the GPSMAP 3005C.
MapSource Software CD-ROMs—enhances the basemap and creates waypoints
and routes from your computer. MapSource offers several detailed mapping
options that are compatible with the GPSMAP 3005C, including BlueChart.
Marine Network Cables (RJ45)—connect your Garmin Marine Network
devices.
Marine Data Management Kit—allows you to archive data, plan routes, and
stay on top of software updates for your GPSMAP 3005C using your PC. The
software includes a marine updater application, which links you to the Garmin
Web site for free software updates for your GPSMAP 3005C. This application
works with the Garmin Marine Network, enabling you to update every
component of your system.
Programmable Data Cards—blank data cards are available in 16 MB, 32 MB,
64 MB, and 128 MB sizes. Download street-level map detail, points of interest,
business addresses and phone numbers, marine data, topographical information,
and more from MapSource CD-ROMs to a data card, either directly through
your GPSMAP 3005C using the PC Interface Cable, or with the Data Card
Programmer.
USB Data Card Programmer—programs blank data cards at high speed
through a PC.
Pre-Programmed Data Cards—data cards that are pre-programmed with either
Garmin BlueChart or Fishing Hot Spots map data.
