The shackle hanger at the rear of the spring should be set 42 3/8” from the front shackle hanger.

Measurement is taken in a straight line, from center to center, between the large holes where the
spring mounts. (Remember that after market springs may alter this measurement)
9)

The axle bump stop must also be relocated. The angle cut rectangular tube should be mounted

on the frame using the original bolts so as to move the original axle bump stop rearward. (illus.)
New hardware to secure the bump stop to the spacer is provided.
10)

Repeat procedure for front mounts to install the rear mounts.

11)

Torque all 7/16” bolts to 65 ft. lbs.

12)

Check all bolts for tightness again and test drive. After 50 miles of driving, check them again!

Enjoy the way your Landcruiser drives now with your new SR-180 SYSTEM.

NOTE: Rear shackles (Part # 125) may be needed to bring the rear of the vehicle back to level after installation
of the 180-8 System. Heavy duty front shackles (Part # 140) are also available.
