3 Measures to avoid dangers
The following measures serve to avoid dangers:

Use the battery pack only in the intended VEGA instrument
l
Battery pack must never be charged because it is a primary
battery
l
Never shortcircuit or reverse batteries
l No operation in hazardous environment (combustible gases,
dusts, vapours)
l
Operation only within the specification (see technical data)
l
Do not immerse the batteries in water
l
Do not expose to strong mechanical shocks or vibrations
l
Do not disassemble, modify or deform
l
Do not throw into a fire
l
Damaged or deformed battery packs must not be used; they must
be disposed of (see chapter "Disposal")
