Transmission . The TH514 features a 4-speed
powersynchro transmission, which use a
torque converter to transfer engine power to
the transmission.

A transmission disconnect is incorporated in
the joystick and can be activated when pressing
the button of the joystick. Also as a selectable
feature when applying the brake, the transmission
will automatically disconnect.

Axles . Durable planetary axles are featured
on the telehandlers providing 50° steering
angle for outstanding maneuverability. These
heavy-duty axles have a proven track record
of reliable operation.

In the front axle a limited slip differential is fitted
as standard. No interaction is needed from the
operator enabling him to concentrate on his job.
The limited slip is designed to give added traction
and comprises of two clutch packs on each side
of the differential, transferring torque and power
from the spinning to the gripping wheel. The
permanent 4-wheel drive reduces the chance
of slipping wheels even more.

In board wet disc brakes are built in the front axle.
An independent disc parking brake is located on
the transmission shaft. Three steering modes are
available to the operator and can easily be selected
by pressing the keypad on the dashboard. Steer

sensors and an automatic steering self-alignment
feature make it easy to change steering modes.

Available steering modes:
• 2-wheel steer for road transport and

higher speeds

• 4-wheel steer allows excellent maneuvering

in all other applications. Ideal for working
in confined spaces like buildings and yards

• Crab steer for lateral side movements

in tight places
