TEJB9564 (06-2010) Cat TH514 Telehandler

The chassis and booms are manufactured from
the highest quality steel to ensure long term
life and component durability. The chassis and
booms are computer aided designed and were
subject to rigorous stress analysis, durability
and fatigue tests to ensure that the machine
meets all application demands and fulfils
customer expectations.

Chassis . The chassis of the TH514 is the main
platform to mount all major components such as
engine pod, axles, boom and cab assemblies. The
sturdy chassis features composite bearings with a
durable bronze alloy design.

This model features a one-piece chassis with
side-mounted cabin and side mounted engine.
A widespread wheelbase gives outstanding
stability in both traveling and lifting operations.

Stabilizers . Stabilizers are standard on the TH514
to provide increased stability and load capacity
at reach. The stabilizers are controlled from
the joystick: full proportional, independent or
simultaneous.

Performance. With its compact dimensions, three steering modes and a tight turning radius,
the TH514 provides exceptional mobility and maneuvrability for working in confined spaces
like buildings and yards.

Boom . This model features a box section
boom constructed of four welded plates.
This box section design gives freedom to place
material where needed, optimising weight
and lift capacity. Also the wear pads are placed
in an optimal position with regards to load
distribution — resulting in less wear, greater
wear pad contact area and less friction.

A compensating cylinder is standard. This
cylinder keeps the pallet forks or work tools
parallel when lifting or lowering the boom.

The TH514 uses two hydraulic cylinders to extend
and retract the boom.
