2. Reinstall the plastic factory shroud. Be sure that all attachment points are seated correctly. The next step will be
to scrub clean the flat part of the factory shroud surrounding the supercharger with alcohol to remove any and
all road grime and dirt. You have been provided with a small piece of an abrasive pad. Scour the area thoroughly
with the pad to increase the surface area and then scrub again with alcohol. Then swipe the area with the
adhesive promoter provided in your kit. PLEASE NOTE: This adhesive promoter is not a cleaner but an adhesive
accelerator and must be used as such in order to achieve a nice long lasting and permanent bond of the new
parts. Now that you have prepared the factory shroud we can install the new parts.
3. The new cover will come to you in two or three section depending on the kit you have purchased. The first
section to install is the u shaped main base plate. This plate should be installed in place for the best and most
accurate position. Before you permanently attach the main plate. Set it in place to get acquainted with its
intended position. It should fit about 1/4 inch on both sides at the back edge of the plastic cover. Peel the red
release liner and set this u shaped section and then carefully position it into place then press firmly along its
perimeter to set the section. PLEASE NOTE: Before you permanently attach any of the sections set them in
place to get acquainted with its intended position. IMPORTANT! You will need to gently shape the front area to
curve down slightly to match the curve of the factory shroud. Do not attempt to allow the adhesive to form this
shape for you as this will cause detachment down the road. Once you have achieved a nice contoured shape set
it in place and then mark its position to the u shaped section with a fine soft marker. Then peel the red release
liner from the back of the plate and set it into position and then firmly press its perimeter as well. Now that you
have set all the sections simply peel the protective liner to finish the installation.
