Quality
The quality settings included option for “SHARPNESS”, BRIGHTNESS”, “CONTRAST”,
“GAMMA”, “HUE”, “SATURATION” and “LUMA DELAY”.

Sharpness
The options are “High”, “Middle” and “Low”. By the setting “Low” the DVD player produces a
very soften picture. By the setting “High” the picture is very sharp.

Brightness and Contrast
The settings for brightness and contrast can be changes by using the scroll bar, which are
displayed, when you want to change to settings.

Gamma
Normally and in ideally a TV set or other system shows a brightness value of 0 as black and
a brightness value of 1 as white on the screen. Every brightness value between 0 and 1 are
shown as grey steps. Such kind of linearity are mostly impossible, so that often the black,
white or grey parts are disproportionately detail displayed.

With the Gamma option you can try to in-
crease the white and black parts. The picture
shows the different settings of Gamma. For
example if the right hand part demonstrate an
normally setting (option OFF) than you can
influence of the other option. The middle part
of the picture shows a small gamma correc-
tion and the left hand part shows the highest
option (High).

Hue
You can change the Hue setting by using the < / > button and in order to the modification the
picture changes on the screen.

Saturation
You can change the Saturation setting by using the < / > button and in order to the modifica-
tion the picture changes on the screen.
