Standby mode

When your phone is on, but not in use, it is in
standby mode. During standby mode, the upper
part of the display screen shows various icons.
The time and date are displayed at the lower
center of the screen. Under the date and time
are Menu on the left corner and Names on the
right corner. Press the left soft key to view
the main menu, and the right soft key to view
the phone book.

The Standby screen icons and their
descriptions are as follows:

Vertical bars indicate the strength of
the GSM network signal. Four bars
indicate that your current position has
the best reception.
Indicates a missed call.

Call divert is enabled.

Ringtone is enabled.

Ringtone and vibrate mode are
enabled.
Ringtone and vibrate mode are
disabled.
Vibrate mode is enabled.

Mute mode is enabled.

Keypad is locked.

Alarm has been set.

A text message has been received.

A multimedia message has been
received.
An email has been received.

A WAP message has been received.

Phone is in roaming mode.

Chatting rooms are enabled.

Phone is using GPRS network.

Ignored list is enabled.

Priviledged call is enabled.

Indicates battery charge status.

Bluetooth is enabled.
