Mounting Options Overview

The three inch deep, one inch high, quarter-rack width USB Extender transmitters and
receivers can be placed on a tabletop, mounted on a rack shelf, or mounted under a desk
or tabletop. The receiver can be mounted on a projector bracket.
The USB Extender AAPs can be wall or floor mounted in two-gang, 2.5 inch deep boxes.
The Decora series can be mounted in a single-gang, 2.5 inch deep wall box.

Mounting instructions are included with each optional mounting kit.

CAUTION: Installation and service must be performed by authorized personnel only.

Connection Guidelines

The USB Extenders can be installed in existing and new systems within the following
guidelines:

USB Extenders cannot be cascaded (you cannot sequentially connect a set of USB
extenders to another set of USB extenders).

The maximum number of USB hubs that can be connected downstream is four, with a
maximum total of 14 USB devices.

The USB Extender is able to support a maximum of 14 downstream USB devices
(including hubs). For example, if two 4-port USB hubs are connected to a receiver, that
totals ten downstream devices (two hub connections plus the eight hub ports).
