TIMER
The toasting time can be chosen using the timer knob.The appliance will switch itself off automatically and give an audible warning when
cooking is finished.
POWER SWITCH
This toaster is fitted with an exclusive power switch with two cooking programmes to meet the different cooking requirements for the
various snacks:
- 750 W: the food is properly toasted very quickly.
Ideal for toasting single slices, not too thick, one after the other (garlic bread, bread, presliced bread, etc.).
- 450 W: to also guarantee that the inside of the food is cooked (at 750 Watts the food would be crispy outside but cold or frozen
inside).
Ideal for toasted sandwiches and other snacks with a filling (crumpets, savoury rolls, small pizzas, savoury tarts, filled buns, etc.).
The toasting times are purely indicative and can change depending on the humidity and temperature of the bread, the thickness of the
slices, etc. Check the level of toasting obtained and, if it is not enough, extend the cooking time by resetting the timer.
LONG, OPENING HOLDING CLAMP
This toaster is provided with a single long clamp that also allows garlic bread and crumpets to be toasted.
The clamp can be fully opened to facilitate preparation of filled toasted sandwiches or crumpets and their removal at the end of cooking.

TOASTER
Using for the first time
When the appliance is new it may give off smoke and a typical smell of new. You are therefore advised to wait a few minutes before
placing food inside.
Warning! Danger of burns:
- Do not touch the food or the metal parts of the toaster or clamp with the hands while they are very hot.
Preparing toasted sandwiches and crumpets with fillings
- Fully open clamp g by pressing the special keys i and rest it on a surface [Fig. A].
- Prepare the filled toasted sandwich directly on the clamp [Fig. B].
- Close the clamp and lock handles h until the closing click is heard [Fig. C].
NB: prepare the crumpet as shown in [Fig. D] so that, when the clamp is closed and placed in the appliance, the filling does not drip
out during cooking.
