Operating the scales
1. Place the scales on a hard, flat surface.
2. When weighing ingredient in a bowl, place the
bowl on the scales before turning the unit on.
When using the tare function place the bowl on
the scales after turning the unit on and press the
Z/T button.
3. Press and release ON/OFF button to turn on the
unit.
4. Wait until the display prompts to “0” before
starting the weighing process.
Selecting weight units
To select your desired unit of weight, press the “UNIT”
button until the desired unit is displayed.
This function can also be used during the weighing
process to view the different metric units.
The units are available in ounces, pounds, grams and
kilograms.
Zero or Tare function
Condition 1 Zero function
To weigh different loads consecutively without removing
loads from the scale, place the first load on the scale to
take the first reading.
Press the Z/T button to reset the LCD to “0” then add the
next load.
This operation can then be repeated.
After the third load has been added the Z/T button must
be pressed twice to reset the LCD to “0”.
Max weight capacity is reduced by the total weight of all the loads.
