Condition 2: Tare function
To use the “Tare” function turn the unit on and place
a plate or bowl on the unit and press the Z/T button
so that the LCD indicates “0”.
Place the first load of the to take a reading.
Press the Z/T button and the LCD will return to “0”.
Place the second load on the scales to take a reading.
Press the Z/T and the LCD will reveal the total weight.
Press the Z/T button a second time and the LCD will
return to “0”.
This operation can then be repeated.
Max weight capacity is reduced by the total weight of
Auto shut off
Auto shut off occurs if the display shows “0” or the
same weight for 2 minutes.
Manual shut off
To maximise battery life, always press ON/OFF to
turn the scale off after use.
