Starting the appliance
Switching on: Press the on/off switch (3) located on the front handle and the switch
(1) on the rear handle at the same time.
Switching off: Release either of the on/switches (3) or (1).
Please note: The blade brake makes the blade stop immediately, a small flash may
occur in the upper ventilation slots. This is normal and will not harm the machine.
Using the appliance

When trimming a hedge, first cut the sides from the bottom to the top. Cut the
upper part giving it the shape you prefer.

The lever guide will help you control the blade in a horizontal action.

The safety blade has laterally rounded and staggered cutting teeth to reduce the
danger of injury. The additional shock protection avoids inconvenient kickback
when the blades come into contact with walls and fences.

If the blades are jammed or blocked by obstacles, switch the motor off
immediately, remove the plug from the electrical supply and remove the object
from the jamming blades.

Obstacles such as metal fences may damage the cutting blades.

When using the appliance keep the extension cord behind yourself and plan the
direction you are cutting the hedge.
