Torque capacity
The Surgrip Casing Tong is available with a medium duty belt for typical use and a heavy
duty belt for the most demanding applications. Always verify which belt is being used to
properly determine the capacity of the tong. The maximum working loads for both belts are
shown in the two tables below.
