Note: check hitch frequently for damage, making sure hitch ball is properly tightened. A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced.
Observe safety precautions when working beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch. This product complies
with safety specifications and requirements for connecting devices and towing systems of the state of New York, V.E.S.C. Regulation V-5 and SAE J684.

installed in strict accordance to these instructions by trained

these and following or subsequent instructions, requirements and

warnings are properly met.

The installation of this hitch product must be performed only by experienced and trained mechanics,

technicians, welders etc. This product is not intended to be installed by an average consumer not familiar with or
experienced in installing towing components on commercial vehicles. Attaching this hitch product to tow vehicle
frame may void vehicle manufacturer(s) warranty. Check with vehicle manufacturer(s) before installing this product.

This product is authorized for use with appropriate Bulldog, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Highland, Reese, Rola, & Tow-Ready brand accessories.

Tow vehicle frame

Make sure that paint has been removed from all surfaces

requiring welding. Weld frame brackets to hitch center section

all the way around complete. Either on inside or outside of

frame brackets. 1/4” fillet welds required. 5/16” minimum tube

must be exposed to weld on outside of frame brackets.

Make sure that hitch
receiver opening is
centered with tow vehicle
before welding.

6” long 1/4” fillet
welds required top
and bottom of tow
vehicle frame to hitch
frame bracket, typical
both sides. Wrap end
of welds 1/2” typical.

Note!

It may be easier to

weld frame brackets to

hitch center section

before installing hitch

to tow vehicle.

frame brackets,

part number

4907 or 4916,

(sold separately), to

complete this installation.
