1.

Raise Hitch into position, aligning the top holes in the Upright Brackets with the existing holes in vehicle end panel.

Note: The Upright Bracket goes on the Forward side of the end panel.

Loosely install the ½” x 1-1/4” lg. hex bolts and conical toothed washers thru hole in Hitch and end panel into the handle nut assemblies.

3.

Using the Hitch as a template, drill the forward attachment holes for the side arm bars into the bottom of the frame rails.

Note: The driver’s side has an existing hole in bottom of frame to align with slot in the side arm.

4.

Fishwire carriage bolt and block through the forward access hole in the bottom of frame rail and through ½” drilled hole and slot in hitch
side arm. NOTE: The fuel filler tube may have to be lowered temporarily to gain proper clearance to access hole on the passenger’s side
frame rail.

5.

Loosely install conical toothed washers and hex nuts onto carriage bolts.

Tighten ½-13 GR5 Handle Nut fasteners with torque wrench to 50 Lb.-Ft.

Tighten ½-13 GR5 Carriage Bolt fasteners with torque wrench to 75 Lb.-Ft.

Note: check hitch frequently, making sure all fasteners and ball are properly tightened. If hitch is removed, plug all holes in trunk pan or other body panels to

prevent entry of water and exhaust fumes. A hitch or ball which has been damaged should be removed and replaced. Observe safety precautions when working

beneath a vehicle and wear eye protection. Do not cut access or attachment holes with a torch.
