5. Locate a suitable grounding point near the
connector such as the vehicle's frame or
cross member. (Do not drill into vehicle floor
or bed.) Clean dirt and rustproofing from
area. Drill a 3/32" hole and secure white
wire using eyelet and screw provided.
CAUTION
Verify what is behind any surface prior to
drilling to avoid damage to the vehicle and/
or personal injury. Do not drill into any
exposed surfaces.
6. Route the T-Connector harness 4-Flat end to
the center of the vehicle and secure wire and
convertor to vehicle crossmember or other
mounting points using tie straps provided
and reconnect the vehicle's tail lamps.
WARNING
All connections must be complete for the
T-Connector to function properly. Test and
verify installation with a test light or trailer
once installed.
NOTE
Mount the 4-Flat end in an accessible
location with a bracket or electrical box
(not included).
WARNING
Overloading circuit can cause fires. DO
NOT exceed lower of towing manufacturer
rating or:
• Max. stop/turn light: (7.5 amps)
• Max. tail lights: (7.5 amps)

TOOLS REQUIRED:
Philips Head Screwdriver, Drill (3/32” Drill
Bit), Trim Panel Remover, 10mm Deep
Well Socket and Ratchet
1. Open the trunk and temporarily disconnect
the driver's side tail lamp housing by
unscrewing the two 10mm nuts that hold it
in place. Carefully pry each taillight housing
from the vehicle.

2. Route the T-Connector with the yellow
wire up from underneath the vehicle
through the opening between the bumper
and body panel.

3. Separate the vehicle's tail light connectors
and insert the T-Connector in between the
separated connectors. Check to see that
the mating surfaces of the vehicle wiring
connectors match the T-Connector ends.
All connector surfaces should be clean
and free of dirt. Be careful not to damage
the locking tabs and be sure that
connectors are fully inserted with
locking tabs in place.
4. Repeat steps 1 through 3 on the
passenger's side using the T-Connector
end with a green wire.
