Our extended range LED IR illuminator (Model LN-EIR-2) or Laser IR
illuminator (Model LN-ELIR-2) fit directly to the accessory mount and can
be purchased by contacting your dealer, or e-mailing us at:

[email protected]

(please indicate the model number of the unit (LN-

ERS40M)). You may also see the list of our online retailers by visiting our
website at:

www.lunaoptics.com

and clicking on “Where to Buy” section.

When using the infrared illuminator it is important to remember that like a
regular flashlight, as the distance increases, the intensity of the infrared
light fades away.

ADJUSTING THE RETICLE:

Your night vision unit is equipped
with a sighting mark called
RETICLE, which can be seen in
the field of view. The reticle type
is MIL-DOT and it features
rangefinder scales allowing you to
determine an approximate
distance to the target. Distance
from the center cross to the first
dot equals 4 mils and distance
between each dot thereafter is 2
mils. Space between lower line
on the right and the numbers
equals height of a target 1.8m
(5’9”) high and each number
represents distance in hundreds
of meters (1=100m and so on…)
(100m=109yds). Please note that the reticle can be illuminated by further
rotating the Power Switch (1) clockwise.

The reticle is also equipped with windage (horizontal) and elevation
(vertical) adjustments (7). Horizontal adjustment scale is located on the
side of the scope and the vertical adjustment scale is on the top of the
scope. To adjust the scale wheels, remove the covers by turning them
counterclockwise and rotate the scales click-by-click to the desired
position, looking into the eyepiece.

ZEROING THE SCOPE

:

Set the weapon with the LN-ERS40M scope on it on a solid base, or bipod.
Remove the horizontal and vertical adjustments covers. If sighting
during the day, please remember to keep the lens cover on at all
times!
If sighting at night or in the dark conditions (hours of dusk or
dawn) pull up the Protective Lens Cover and then turn the scope to ON
position. Do not zero the scope during sunny and particularly bright light
conditions even with cover on.
