14. Screw locknut onto upper valve rod. For proper powerhead adjustment, locknut

should be screwed down until only 2 threads on upper valve rod are showing
above locknut. LOCTITE® thread sealer should be used to secure locknut.

15. Place o-ring onto cylinder head cap, lubricate with LUBRIPLATE® grease and screw

cylinder head cap into cylinder head.

16. Place four o-rings onto valve sleeve and lubricate with LUBRIPLATE® grease.
17. Push valve sleeve into bottom hole on cylinder head) end of valve sleeve with 2

large holes into cylinder head first). Align 2 holes in valve sleeve with trip spring
retainer holes in cylinder head.

18. Screw one trip spring retainer into cylinder head to hold valve sleeve in place for

next few steps.

Note: This step is only temporary.

19. Place valve spool assembly into cylinder head (locknut end first) until spool

assembly bottoms out against cylinder head cap.

20. Push bushing on valve spool assembly into cylinder head until it bottoms out

against valve sleeve.

21. Place snap ring into groove in cylinder head to secure valve spool assembly in

cylinder head.

22. Remove trip spring retainer described in step 18.
23. Place, in order, ball, detent trip spring and detent trip spring retainer into each

retainer hole in cylinder head. Wrench retainers snug to prevent air leaks.

24. Place o-ring into groove of cylinder head, (air transfer tube) hole.
25. Place gasket onto flat area of cylinder head.

Note: Light lubrication with LUBRIPLATE® will keep gasket in place during assembly.

26. Screw silencers into cylinders head.

PowerHead Piston Assembly

(All powerhead parts should be lightly lubricated with LUBRIPLATE®)

27. Place o-ring into groove of bushing in top of center section.
28. Place proper o-ring into groove of center section (air transfer tube hole).
29. Place gasket on top of center section.

Note: Light lubrication with LUBRIPLATE® will keep gasket in place during assembly.

30. Push upper piston rod approximately half way through bushing in center section

(threaded end first).

Note: Bushing will prevent upper piston rod from falling during next steps.

31. Place o-ring onto piston and thread piston onto piston rod (small boss down).
32. Place washer on top of piston centered over hole in piston and upper piston rod.
